Schools Gala 2018 - New Arrangements

With the postponement of the first Schools Semi-Final, it has had to be re-schedule things in line with pool availability. The new arrangements make it such that all schools and swimmers who have entered will be able to take part.
Please note that the following is the only option we have:
The Semi-Final for next Saturday 10th will take place as previously advised. Start time and participating schools has not changed. The rules for qualification to the Final will not alter - the top six schools on the night will qualify.
On 17th March The Final will now be a 3 heat Primary School event, plus the Secondary School event. The Primary School event to include the six schools who have qualified from next Saturday, plus the nine schools who had their Semi-Final cancelled. This way every school will get a chance to swim. The heats will be seeded as far as possible so that the faster teams will swim together.
Please note that the start time for the final on 17th March has changed. The Pool will open to spectators, swimmers and teachers from 5.00pm. The finish time should hopefully be 8.30pm
