Bingley Amateur Swimming Club is friendly local organisation run by a team of professional volunteers for the benefit of children wishing to develop their swimming skills.

OUR AIM

Our aim is to promote the enjoyment of the sport to our members and to help them develop their technique and improve their performance. Our team of experienced coaches and teachers achieve this through tailored sessions that support the development of stroke technique which leads onto improved speed and stamina.

We try and cater for all abilities acting as a feeder club for swimmers that show the aptitude and desire to go on and compete at the highest level. As swimmers progress they will be given the opportunity to compete in club, local and regional galas if they wish, we do not make this a condition of being a member.

STANDARDS FOR SWIMMING

All we ask is that swimmers are able to comfortably swim frontcrawl, backcrawl and breaststroke at a reasonable level over a distance of 200 metres.

If you are interested in joining our club please go to the menu on the left and click on "Register for Trial". When a space becomes available you will be invited via an email to attend a trial on an agreed date.
