Club Kit

Swimmers Need To Bring The Following Named Kit To All Training Sessions

Swimwear: Close-fitting one piece swimwear (no bikinis or baggy trunks).

Googles: Make sure your swimmer's goggles fit properly (not too big). Googles should be able to stick on eyes when just pushed on to face without strap. (Swimmers should ideally have a spare pair of goggles as the do eventually break with use.)

Water bottle: Filled with water! No glass and avoid the rigid plastic bottles which crack when dropped on a hard surface. The (optional) club water bottle can be ordered here.

Swim Hats: Swimmers should ideally all wear a named hat. Those with long hair particularly need to wear a swim hat. Named club swim hats are ordered in batches - we hope to be putting an order in soon, all swimmers will be emailed to give them the opportunity to buy one/some. (Swimmers should ideally have a spare swim hat as the do eventually split with use.)  Unnamed club swim hats can be ordered here.

Kickboard: Aka a float with hand holes.

Pullbuoys: If swimmers can afford afford their own pullbuoy they should bring one, otherwise there are usually plenty at the pool to borrow. Even if your swimmer is tall they will still only need a kids-size pullbuoy.

Swimmers should arrive at their training sessions in their swimwear with quick to remove/put on clothing on top, such as a onesie or tracksuit. With their towel and underthings in a bag suitable to be left poolside with the rest of their clothing in.

If you have asthma please remember your inhaler!
